sjöhäxan Haunting yet gorgeous split, and although quite different in style from one another, it feels cohesive. The layered recorders was a favorite of mine, providing light and airy harmonies to the accompanying guitar. Beautiful and solid! Favorite track: Wandering Through Forests Old and Deep.

Johan Right music at the right time: I listened to the split during illustrating my newest work, which has to do with witches, infinity of the ocean, and the unknown. With Elminster's Wiccan, I entered my and his realm completely, but when Baerdcyn started with exotic sounds of japanese flavor, I was highly surprised, and finished the illustration with an unexpected grin on my face. Favorite track: Intro.

barleybase Haunting and layered, the two Elminster tracks paint a beautiful and eerie picture. The melodies shine through, like clouds parting over a dark, moonlit castle. Baerdcyn's side has a much more sinister and spooky tone. Off-tune notes mix with recorder melodies that seem to lead the listener through dense trees under no moon at all. Altogether, this split is an enchanting experience. Favorite track: Ancestral Hold Of The Vampyric Lord.

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time. Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
