Shoigunjinsho The title gets it right, a very ethereal exposition. The color purple has always been an other worldly yet nostalgic and melancholic color. The album art was a good choice for this release. I find a lot of dungeon synth to be formulaic but the releases by this artist page have been a welcome divergence from the norm. The final track by Elminster almost makes me think of the final level of Mirror's Edge, a very different aesthetic. Favorite track: Blurry Melancholy.

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time. Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
